For more than a decade, I have been immersed in the art of storytelling through photography, and I still pinch myself to make sure it's not just a dream. I am incredibly grateful and fortunate to have a career that allows me to pursue my passion every single day. Building connections with people and capturing their stories is something I hold dear to my heart. Their stories become a part of me, and I carry them with me always.
I started my journey with photography using a film camera during my childhood years, and ever since then, my passion for this art form has only grown stronger. Holding a camera in my hands instantly transports me to my happy place, where my true self can shine.
My dedication doesn't stop when the photo shoot wraps up— I’m a little different then most wedding and family photographers, for me that's just the kick-off. It’s not just important to me to nail that perfect shot but also diving into the nitty-gritty of editing. I find immense joy in the editing process, investing time and attention to ensure that the final photos truly reflect the emotions and essence of the moment. I firmly believe that your story is something magical, and it's my top priority to make sure my work shouts about its significance. So, when I say every photo gets the VIP treatment, it does —because if it matters to you and your story, it matters big-time to me too.

my pack
I am the wife of a drummer. My husband and I got married in our backyard during COVID, under an arbor we built ourselves out of magnolia branches! Technically, he married me twice, as we had a larger hand-fasting / forest ceremony one year later.
I am a rescue mom to four pets so your fur babies are always welcome at your session! My pack has two cats, Bon Jovi & Rumour, and two dogs, Gypsy & Greta. Three of them are named after my love for Fleetwood Mac.

I value my annual spiritual recharge with my two dearest friends where we escape to a cabin in the mountains to reconnect with our souls.

Family time is extremely important to me, I’m more then just a family photographer, I’m a mom too. I am grateful to have a career that allows me to be present in my daughter's life. She is such an inspiration to me and the best location scouting assistant I could ask for.

I have always been a dreamer and knew that the traditional route was not for me. This led me to explore living in Chicago, New York City, and Nashville before finally settling down in Philadelphia, PA.

I WON'T WORK WITH ANYONE BUT SHANNON, SHES THE BEST!
We hired Shannon for our engagement & wedding photos and we couldn't be happier with the results! My husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but she put us at ease. She captured our wedding day so beautifully. Our photos are so much better than I could have ever envisioned and I cannot wait to share them. It's definitely not the last she will see of us!

We have been lucky enough to have Shannon photograph our newborn session & fall family photos. She was so wonderful to work with, captured such special moments, and made our family look gorgeous.
